Management is presently reviewing the motor scooter situation with the consideration of eliminating the three-wheel model presently used. The field will be notified of Management's decision upon conclusion of the investigation presently being conducted. It is recognized that with the straddle carrier equipment, operator visibility is restricted to a minimum radius of 12' from the equipment. An investiga tion is presently being conducted to evaluate what equipment may be installed to eliminate this exposure. Upon completion of this study, the field will so be advised. V. Screening of Personnel K. E. Keuper informed the group of the necessity for accelerated attention being given to this subject, especially at the time of employment. The increased number of people being placed on the non-service roll, and the employer*^ forfeiting the pre-employment physical exam tool,, necessitates the development and use of a questionnaire or other methods . ^ to acquire the necessary information regarding the physical * condition of the prospective employee.
