Washington,D.C. 20036 Dear Jerry: Just a short note to advise you on some recent developments regarding Vinyl Chloride We have been advised that the Air Quality Boards of two States, Maryland and Texas, have been requesting technical^.,, information from some of our members. The line of questioning indicates these States may be considering proposing Vinyl Chloride Emmission Standards which could be tougher than the one proposed by EPA. Also, the questions would lead one to be lieve the States are planning on proposing and promulgating regulations notwithstanding the fact that EPA has a proposed regulation under consideration.
