Lewis & Bros. Co. ese containers I believe for over a year altho they have not been opened. The blood specimen is being sub mitted in duplicate. The test tube containing the needle was broken at the time the package was unwrapped. Vie are assuming that there was no contamination even at this late date because of the fact that the package was as originally wrapped in Cincinnati. A third package is also being re turned, containing a contaminated urine bottle. We now have no specimen jars in reserve at John T. Lewis & Bros, Co. and therefore request two for blood and two for urine for future presently unanticipated use. He has been an employee of ours for 22 years and has had what we considered to be gout and has been under the care of his own physician and thru him, Jefferson Hospital of Philadelphia and has been considered for lead poisoning by them. His blood pressure since 1936 has remained around 120130 and then on August 14, 1946 it was 140/90. He is colored and aged 47. He was sent for today for examination for I was told that his Union official had been informed by his family physician that he had a blood pressure of 235 which was considered to be due to lead.
