WALL PAINT No. 96
:. v , (Heavy Body} i
-v ' i ...
Wall Paint No. 96 was developed to meet the <<**"< for a deep pebble
stipple. This is not intended as just a heavy bodied Wall Paint and riaould
be sold only when the painter wishes to produce a stipple at the old T rwf
Oil Sharp Stipple, or the High Pebble Stipple. .
. ?.
The material should be applied as h comes in the package and the bright
of the stipple depends upon the amount of material applied uniformly on the
surface. The round top edge of the stipple depends upon the time the painter waits before stippling after applying the material. Usually four to five min
ute* produces the average round pebble stipple, depending upon drafts ha the room and natural drying conditions.
Painters will find this an ideal product to produce many types ofbesutiftd
wall finishes, either tinting it and leaving it in a stipple effect, or glaring over with many possible beautiful glare and color effects..

This undercoater, as well as other S-W undercosters, can be mixed readily
with either Old Dutch Enamel or Snamelastic when desired, in the case of
split coats. For first coat work this material should be thinned with one pint
of oil and one pint of turpentine to the gallon on hardwoods; on softwoods
one quart oil only to the gallon. For uae over Wall Primer ad Sealer on wall
work reduce with one pint turpentine to the gallon.

Many painters are making their own Dull Enamels, particularly to satisfy the demand of their customers as to degree of sheen, which varies on different
jobs.
Most painters have found this very difficult to accomplish when using the average wall paint or enamel undercoater, in that they were not ground fine enough or dean enough to produce a good Dull Enamel when mixed with Gloss Enamel.
XXX Enamel Undercoater stands out alone because 01 its dean, fine
grinding. It mixes perfectly with *"***!, particularly Bnamelastic, to pro
duce a high grade Dull Enamel with^varying degrees of sheen depending
upon the mixture.
