DESCRIPTION:
Fluid-Tite A/C Pressure Pipe, Couplings and Accessories Classes 100, 150 and 200 - Common Groove
Purpose:
1) To add 10" and 12" Class 150 TBIC's utilizing a long-style coupling with reduced I.D. stop for special applications requested by the Riverside plant. A 1" NPT "D" length brass insert is used in both oases.
Ref: Letter to M. R. Streepy from H. L. Todd 3/23/79.
2) To add a reference to the "handling label" now being attached to all pipe, 1/4 - length and above.
3) To change B.O.D., I.D. and L dimensions of Coupling Reducers.
The L dimensions of 16 to 14, 18 to 16 and 20 to 18 Class 150 and 12 to 10, 14 to 12 and 16 to 14 Class 200 were increased to alleviate the problem of having less than minimum t wall thicknesses in the area of the B2 and OD2 overlap.
4) Norn. I.D. dimensions of 6" Class 200 FM and 10" PAD-5 were corrected.
5) A/C Tapped Couplings for use with PVC were deleted here and are now in Spec. 18.
6) Index to Specification was revised.
Effective Date: Date of issue.

Purpose:
To add in sizes 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 inch eighth lengths as a standard product. This will include MEO and FM pipe.
To add a min. max. B.O.D. requirement to agree with what is already published and available to the field. The B.O.D. dimensions were developed primarily for companies that make accessory items used with A/C Pipe, i.e. repair clamps, to aid them in their design work.
To correct errors or omissions to TBIC's, Hexagonal Bushings and Pads 2 and 3.
