In his first year heading the agency, he already spearheaded nearly two dozen significant regulatory reform actions that would save the American people $1 billion in regulatory costs. He also announced internal policy changes at the agency including reforms to EPA's scientific advisory boards to ensure geographic diversity and also ending the agency's 'Sue and Settle' practices.
