Worked as a fitting molder's helper and as a fitting molder. 1959-1968 Promoted to line supervisor. During this period Tyler Pipe expanded rapidly allowing me the opportunity to work in a variety of production departments located in both the North and South Plant. 1968-1972 Promoted to Foundry Foreman of the first shift in the North Plant. The Foundry Foreman was responsible for supervising the entire operations of the foundry during a work shift. Later in this period I was transferred to the South Plant where I served in the same capacity. 1972-1975 Promoted to South Plant Superintendent. 1975-1987 Promoted to Director of Foundry Operations. This position entailed the management of all production operations in both the North and South Plants. 1987-1989 Promoted to Assistant Vice President of Foundry Operations. Same job, different title. 1989-1992 Assumed the job of Assistant Vice President-Director Of Research and Development. 1992-1995 Promoted to Vice President-Technology. Managed the Facilities Engineering, Tooling Engineering, Quality Assurance, Environmental, and Research and Development Departments. 1995 At the end of 1995 I retired from Tyler Pipe and am now doing a limited amount of consulting work. The consulting work consist of aiding foundries in modernizing their facilities, streamline operations, reducing rejects, increase quality, and improving the foundry environment and worker safety.
