As we have talked before, the work group would be comprised of tox and epidemiologist types. The current proposed membership includes Phil Watanabe (Dow), Jim Knaak (Oxy), Dave Penney (Vista), Jim Barter (PPG) and myself. 2) The second individual would be the Geon rep on the CCC's Economic Benefits Work Group (currently Mike Mashall's name is on the roaster). This work group originated (and sunset) in the Chlorine Institute to produce the Charles River Assoc.'s report on chlorine economics. The team has not met under the CCC umbrella yet but will likely start work soon on Life Cycle Assessments with the first proposal on the table including PVC pipe. Proposed work group membership includes Nick Barrone (Olin), Rick Kellogg (Pioneer), John Miles Vicksburg Chemical), Joe Bindo (Oxy), Leslie Littell (PPG) and myself. I am hoping to initiate an organizational teleconference for both work groups (VI and CCC) yet this month. Please forward you suggestions ("volunteers") to me ASAP.
