Your dosimeter results indicated an exposure of 1.84 ppm measured over a 8.0 hour period occurred on the above-mentioned date. A review of job functions being performed would indicate your exposure occurred while you were involved in the loading of VCM railcars. You were protected by fresh air during this operation. This notice is in compliance with OSHA Standard, Title 29, Chapter XVII, Part 1910.93(g), Section (M) (3), Standard for Exposure to Vinyl Chloride. Corrective action that is under study or in engineer ing stages to reduce the potential of exposure related to recognized emission sources are included in the plant's VCM Health Compliance Plan Section 5 - Work Practice and Engineering Controls.
