Harriet L. Hardy, 11. D. Medical Department Massachusetts Institute of Technology Cambridge 39, Massachusetts Dear Harriet:
X have Just returned to my desk after a brief vacation in a warmer climate, and there are many things that have to be done all at once. I
shallihave to have some time at ay disposal when I undertake to answer your letter, and X must also ask you, therefore, to be patient with the delay that will enable me to get the most pressing things behind me. I can see that my earlier letter requires both documentation and elucidation the latter since X failed to state the case clearly in some respects.
I shall get around to a reply as soon as I can. Meanwhile I offer my best wishes for the New Year.
Sincerely,
RAX: vr
