You should have already received documents responsive to the submission due on April 24. Due in part to the closure of 3M's main administrative office building on April 24 because of a burst water main and in part to our preparation for the meeting with EPA this coming Friday, an additional week will afford 3M the opportunity to make a more complete response to EPA's request. We also feel that we could benefit from discussing directly with you questions of interpretation related to the April 7, 2000 and April 11, 2000 e-mails. I appreciate the guidance that you provided us in those communications and during our telephone conversations. However, as we began preparing our submissions additional questions were generated. You will note this as an agenda item for our meeting on April 28. Agreement on some of these open questions will help assure efficiency in our data gf gathering and submission efforts. S2 I look forward to our meeting this Friday. <? ~'Vrn --: rn Best regards, 'W\; - < 0^ \L.i -pron o William A.
