The objective for collecting detailed work-history information is so that we can better evaluate the health of our employees in relation to where they have worked and to what chemicals they have been exposed. An attempt is being made to collect less detailed, but equally important information on Celanese employees for the period prior to when we started zone tracking. The attached employee work history information was compiled from old Industrial Relations records and from the work done by a specially formed committee tasked to describe the old units, the chemicals that were in those units and the potential for exposure. Please have your employees review the attached computer Work History Profile, paying special attention to the Hire Date, Date of Birth (DOB), Race, Sex and the circled Job Summaries. Within the Job Summary information, the START and END DATES are important. The Department and Plant Area is not required information. The Unit Description, Job Classification and Job Title should be accurate for the Operations and Maintenance Departments. Please review the attached computer sheets and have your employees sign-off verifying its correctness. Please send these sheets back to me by April 1, 1981, so that any changes can jk cc: J. J.
