Carter of Pittsburgh Industrial Hygiene advised me today that we are not obligated to report asbestos concentra tions of less than 50 fibers per mill-iiiter to exposed employees provided employees exposed in the range of 5 to 50 fibers/ml are fitted with appropriate respiratory protection.
