The above te s ts lead us to believe th a t the commercial dose o f e ith e r ? or ?-5 would provide e s a ti s f e e to r v aroma l i f e w ith Metro type t a l e . Our te s t s were lim ite d in th a t we d id n o t in d u c e the n e u tr a liz e r a t th is point. This assay s about $% using th e stro n g a cid method and c lo s e to 6}S using the t i t r a t i o n method. Thus th e re would be every reaso n to expect th e two ta lc s to n e rfo ra about the same when th e i r p ro cessin g conditio n s were reasonably c lo se . The Kadoc d e p o sit is a r e la tiv e ly la rg e source o f ta l c b u t I t contains se v e ra l grades o f ore which are given d i f f e r e n t names. The h ig h e st grade up th e re i s the Henderson se c tio n and i t is th a t s e c tio n which is p re s e n tly b e lrg worked to supply th e crudes fo r the P la in f ie ld p l a n t. As f a r as we know th e re se rv e s a t Xedoc were o f the 150,000 ton o rd er fo r the Henderson type a t th e 600 fo o t le v e ls . The p ro cess used to upgrade the ta lc i s based on e le c tr o s ta tic sep aratio n . This Is a cry process so , . th e re would be no e f f e c ts r e s u ltin g from wetting or ' ' ' f l o t a t i o n reag en t ry . Kext Stens Hr. P.ussell and I s h a ll be v is itin g Xr.
