Minutes of Meeting of Executive Committee _held April 30. 1929. Present: Messrs. Beale, Beschorman, Carter, Cornish, McCarty, Rockwell, Sidford and Thompson. The minutes of the meeting held April 9, 1929, were duly approved. On separate motions the following resolutions were each unanimously adopted. RESOLVED, that the sum of $1750. be and it hereby is appropriated for the purchase of a / Clark Tructractor for use at the *atawan Plant, y Atlantic Branch, in conformity with letter of Mr. Martin Newcomer, Production Manager, Atlantic Branch Metal Department, dated April 11, 1929. RESOLVED, that the sum of $1550. be and it hereby is appropriated for repairs to coal \f hoist and ash hopper at Atlantic orks, Atlantic Branch, in conformity with letter of Mr. H. P. Cavarly, Assistant Manager, dated April 30, 1929. RESOLVED, that the sum of $1100. be and / it hereby is appropriated for repairs to radial ,/ brick chimney at Jewett orks, Atlantic Branch, in conformity with letter of *r. H. P. Cavarly, Assistant Manager, dated April 20, 1929. RESOLVED, that the sum of $568. be and it hereby is appropriated for installation of new dust pipe system for Oxide Department, St. Louis Lead & Oil Works, St. Louis branch, in conformity with letter of Mr. eorge B. Gilmore, Superintendent, dated April 12, 1929. RESOLVED, that the proposed expenditure of the sum of approximately $850. by National Lead Company of California, In addition to turnin value of old car replaced, for purchase of Buick coach for salesman, in conformity with letter of Mr. James B. Keister, Vice President, dated April 23, 1929, be and it hereby is approved. RESOLVED, that the sum of $484.75, in addition to turn-in value of old car replaced be and it hereby is appropriated for purchase ,/ of a Ford coach for salesman. Cinch Bolt Department, Atlantic Branch, in conformity with letter of Mr.'R. E. Smith, Sales Manager, dated April 18, 1929. RESOLVED, that the sum of $590. be and it hereby is appropriated for the purchase of a Ford coach for western salesman. Cinch Bolt Department, Atlantic Branch, in conformity with letter of Mr. R. Smith, Sales Manager, dated April 22, 1929.
