Calsilite' Insulation
an improved calcium silicate insulation for use on process and power steam piping and equipment
RU8EROID* Calsilite* insulation often distinct tpplication adventagea to tits cost conscious user
Ught and convenient to handle, therefore quickly and easily applied.
Economical to insult. Sections fit accurately on standard pipe toss. n Attractive, clean appearance. Ruberoid Calsilite insula*
tion--normally provided with standard weight canvas jackets--may also be finished with heavy canvas or other types Of westherproof Jacketing.
Advantages:
Improved thermal design: Radical new formulation of Catai nts means superior strength end durability under almost any exterior or Imsrlor Industrial conditions. Calsilite is non* soluble in weter end ie not effected by most eikelia. It re tains its shape under all conditions. Including excessive condensation, high humidity...even complete saturation... yet returns to normal thermal efficiency when dry.
New sectional design: Insuiletion normally accounts for tne major snare of the total job cost New Sectional Calsilite cuts job time and saves money by doing away with piece by piece installation. It is available In s complete size range to fit pipe and tubing sizes up to and including 24' I.P.S. One layer thickness from 1' up to 3*. Segmental Calsilite above 24'.
Improved texture: Texture of Calsilite is so fine that insula tion can be easily cut for any application. Even the smallest segments can be mitred with a minimum of breakage or crumpling. Reduction in loss of material means increased savings.
Ease of application: CalaUite la easy to fabricate, even for the most involved or detailed application. No special equip ment required. Compatible cements finish joints and fittings neatly and evenly.
Variety of shapes and sizes: Made in half-eectlonal end regular segmenul shapes as well as block forms. Calsilite eliminates the need to stock a variety of different types of insulation. Slzss correspond to standard Iren pipe and cop per tubing.

Ruberoid T/NaIOO multi-purpose insulation jacketing
superior in appearance... superior wherever atmospheric conditions present severe maintenance problems... no specialized installation
T/NA 100 is a truly unique insulation jacketing. It is fireproof, flexible. and offers unparalleled resistance to outdoor weathering. It Is remarkably aasy to apply and provides significant savings in installation costa. It never re quires painting or weatherproofing.
T/NA 100 combines asbestos fiber an inorganic material of established durability and flame resistance, with Tedlar* a new PVF film of unique characteristics developed in the laboratories of Du Pont The asbestos fiber is formed into a tough asbestos felt using an _ astomerfc binder. "Tedtas" is permanently laminated to the asbestos felt with an elastomeric adhesive.
Features:
Tough and flexible over wide temperature range (--50* F to over 200* F).
F1im-resistant with flama spread rating of 25 by Underwriter's Laboratories.
Weather-resistant... will not eraza, erode or corrode on exposure.
Chemical and solvent resistant retaining form and strength even when boiled in strong acids and bases. Unaffected at ordinary temperatures by many classes of common solvent; Impermeable to greases and oils; unaf fected by soil bacteria.
Dasigned for muitl-purpose use over large areas aa well as narrow dlamatar pipelines.
Resistant to puncture and abrasion... designed to taka wear and tsar.
Easy to repair by patching with T/NA 100 Finishing Tape.
Bright white aurfsce... attractive and highly reflective. T/NA 100 Vapor Barrier* is also available having a moisture transmission f of 0.05 perms.

GAF Asbestos Millboard
GAF* Asbestos Millboard is made of selected asbestos fiber combined with suitable binding materials to produce a densely compressed sheet of uniform size and thickness. To prevent warp ing. the sheet is carefully cured and dried. It can be obtained in several different styles with either a smooth or a pin-pointed, embossed finish.
Asbestos Millboard is designed to be used wher ever a light-weight, inexpensive fireproofing ma terial is required. It is employed widely in insulat ing ovens and ranges and for lining grates, ceilings and walls. Its many residential and in dustrial uses are apparent when it is considered that the product is fire retardant, vermin proof
and can be used as protection against acid fumes.
GAF* Millboard is of the "smokeless" type. Under heat it will not give off offensive, pungent gases or odors and while it may discolor slightly at higher temperatures, its strength is net materi ally impaired. It can safely be used with tempera tures as high as 1000: F.
The soft, medium and hard grades are made to cover the wide uses to wnich millboard is put. While medium grade is standard and Is furnished unless otherwise requested, soft qua iry satisfies the requirements when some flexibility is re quired. The hard quality is stiff and brittle. It is used when rigidity is a requirement.
