He stated that it would be impossible for us to buy one but suggested that I write to the Quartermaster General and ask for the loan of one of the stoves for experimental use. I have so written and have asked that the stove be sent to you at the Kettering Laboratory. A copy of my letter werfcto Colonel Hoss and it is possible that \ve may get some action within a reasonable time. .
