Scarbrough has been named assistant manager, new products development department and Edward L. White, technical head, plastics department. Mr. Scarbrough joined National Lead in 1948 as a chemist in the organic department at Brooklyn Research Laboratories. In 1950 he became a technical, representative for the new products development department and in 1961 was named technical head, plastics department. Mr. Scarbrough received his B.S. degree from the University of Alabama and his M.S. degree from Lehigh University. He is member of American Chemical Society, Society of Plastics Engineers, Society of Rheology and New York Rubber Group. Mr. White came to National Lead as an assistant chemist in the rubber department at the Brooklyn Research Laboratories in 19^5* In 1949 he was named chemist in the plastic laboratory and in 1955 senior chemist. He was made plastic laboratory group leader in i960. Mr. White received his B.S. degree in chemistry at Queens College, New York, and his M.S. degree at Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute.
