I had wished to learn the background of the case, but it was necessary for me to leave immediately after I finished my paper in order to catch my plane. Consequently I had no opportunity to continue our conversation. I shall be glad to have any information which you wish to give me. From your initial words, I gathered that this was something unusual, and there was something in the history, as you began to recount it, that did not fit in to the pattern of a significant degree of exposure to tetraethyllead.
