Dr. Wayne L. Fitter, State Department of Health of Kentucky, Bureau of Industrial Hygiene, 520 South Third Street, Louisville 2, Kentucky.
Dear D r . :itter:
I have your letter of November 4, and I am very glad indeed to know that you have a paper on "Occupational Illnesses in Cotton Industries, II Chronic respiratory P r o b l e m s , " vhich you might like to present at the spring meeting of the American: Industrial Hygiene Association. If Phil Drinker Is interested in It and has accepted it for publication, it seems very likely that ve shall vish to invite you to present i t .
As chairman of the Program Committee for the coming meeting, my associates and I are attempting to get together the available material, and vould very much appreciate having you submit your paper to us for consideration. We do not require the manuscript, but we vould like to have a resume of its contents with a sufficient description to enable us to determine what It is about and how long it will take you to present It, and what you will require by way of lantern and the like. We shall probably have more program material than ve require, and therefore some selection will be necessary In order tc develop a program that will hang together1. Therefore careful consideration will be given to every subject submitted to us . The dead line for the submission of the material is January 1j . I shall be very pleased to hear from you and to know what you have for us .
Very truly yours,
