'S UA^n-f -/o U', HSZSt ck.. TO: VI HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE RE: INPUT TO CANTOX REVIEWERS -- Immediate Assistance Requested -- RESPONSE NEEDED BY OCTOBER 14 The expert panel that is reviewing the work product of CANTOX on chlorine <to which the VI is a contributor) has suggested that it would be extremely useful to include occupational exposure data for vinyl chloride. Dave Penney of Vista and Bob Hinderer of BFGoodrich, who are serving as part of the VI team on the CANTOX project, have developed the attached chart which traces occupational exposure for the past five years by type uf facility and by job function. Please note that: o if your data is in some other format, please use whatever format is the most efficient for you to use to comply with this request o the data should cover your "normal operations", i.e. NOT for "turn arounds" or operations under extraordinary circumstances Please respond to this request no later than October 14. I will assure that the data provided will be presented to the industry review team in a format in which company identification has been removed. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
