Furnished vessel in Bolivar Roads with marine chemist and issued
certified chemist certificates for compartments specified anyor
adjacent to repairs.

AHAEAD THROTTLE:
Hired launch and boarded vessel in ship channel at Galveston.
Opened out ahead throttle valve while vessel lay at anchor, to
repair same as directed by Owner's Representative, Mr. Worthington,
Machined two (2) 6" x S" blocks of steel plate to 1" thich and
installed on lever as positive stop. Repositioned stop ring in
side of body and secured. Relocated control wheel to show open
and closed accordingly. Proved satisfactory to all concerned.
Removed equipment and men upon arrival at refinery in Baytown,
