DESCRIPTION OF WORK The scope of work under this contract consists of the installation of foun dations and piping, in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings. PROPOSALS 3.1 The bidder shall submit a bid on all work called for in these specifications. Bids nay be supplemented by any additional data felt necessary. 3.2 The proposal shall include: 3.2.1 Lump sum cost. 3.2.2 Foundation cost. 3.2.3 Piping Cost. 3.2.U Estimated first construction tine in field. 3.2.5 Estimated time for completion from receipt of contract. We have also visited the site and acquainted ourselves with those conditions we feel will have an effect upon the conduct of the work. Our lump sum bid is hereby attached in triplicate. The work shall include all labor, material (unless specified as furnished .by others), tools, equipment, and supervision to install the foundation and piping as shown on the drawings. 2. GENERAL CONDITIONS All work must be carefully planned to avoid interference with plant oper ations. Special precautions must be taken to elemenate any danger of fire when working on existing oil contaminated piping. 3. DRAWINGS The following drawings are hereby made a part of this specification. PAINTING AH exposed metal surfaces shall be sandblasted to "commercial blast" and shop primed with RiPont #373-351 red lead primer, or equal. After erection scuffed and burned spots will be spot primed with red lead. The exposed surfaces shall then receive an intermediate coat of DuPont #67-813 buff intermediate primer, or equal, and be finished with a top coat of DuPont #35^-793 aluminum, or equal. 8.
