Great, if we could coordinate the announcement (assuming it's favorable) that would be terrific. Very big deal back home.

Hi Bob -- I don't have an exact date for when we'll be announcing the recipients for BUILD, however statutorily we must announce by June 28 so definitely will be in the next month. Will keep you posted when I know more.
Hope you had a great long weekend! Hannah

Hope all is well as our DOT friends head into one of the busiest travel weekends of the year. Some months ago, our office had reached out to see if we could expedite a favorable decision on this pending grant. The grant aspires to help alleviate severe traffic congestion at the largest cloverleaf/intersection in our region -- the SR65/I80 intersection in Placer County (suburban Sacramento). The area is experiencing rapid growth and is critical to the economic health of our district.
When we had previously reached out on this grant, the Department was still settling in after the appointment of Sec. Duffy and asked for more time to review the request. It was suggested that
a decision could be reached around May or June. CI
Since we're getting close to that date, might you be able to see if we can get this moved along? It's really impossible to overstate how important this project is to the boss and our district.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide and I hope you have a great weekend!
