Note that renovation or demolition of more than 80 meters of pipe covering or 15 square meters of asbestos covering boiler or reactors require notification of the EPA Regional Administrator 10 days prior to commencement of removal. Since location of asbestos disposal is also required by the Administrator, I would suggest we develop the following procedure: 1. Identify locations of asbestos in the plant. (Lab has a new microscope). 2. Properly bag and dispose of asbestos on-site in our ball mill pit. 3. Treat other insulations used in the plant like asbestos but continue to dispose of off-site. 4.
