Spoke to facts of how we are working together to advance a more effective and efficient state government and we are seeing better relationship with region 7. I did say that region 7 has always been good to work with - but that we have seen more direct and "Cooperative" working with type of interactions - cited the recent Hastings superfund listing as a positive where we worked with region 7 to advance a treatment and removal project that reduced time and overall cost for a more effective clean-up. These actions allow us to address more sites in an effective manner and it allows remediation to occur - allowing land to return to productive use sooner and cleans up our soil and water for healthy communities. Originally slated as a 30 year project, NDEQ advanced a technical process that both leading edge and midpoint remediation will lower overall expenses and save about 15 years in time and reduce overall project costs. Jim Gulliford has been great to work with, gave examples of our management and technical team meetings we just started and how they help to resolve problems. We see more deference to states and team approaches. Sierra Club v. We have had more direct relationships with Administrator Pruitt, his key staff Henry Darwin COO (on process improvement), Susan Bodine and Patrick Traylor on OECA and Ken Wagoner in direct visits in over 40 states and all regions Thought the questions were fair and tone of interview good. I am doing a story on the new crop of regional administrators, and I want to interview someone from ECOS to talk about how the relationships with the regional offices has changed or not changed, improved or worsened, during the Trump administration. Do you have someone available to talk about that tomorrow? Thanks.
