Mr. Charles E. Couchnen, Director, Bueau of Industrial Hygiene, City Health Department, F. 0. Box 1877 Baltimore 2, Md.
Dear Mr. Ceuchman;
Just a note of thanks for your valuable time and cour tesies extended Mr. Sehreyer and me last Tuesday in helping us with the Baltimore Label Ordinance in regard to paints containing II or more of lead.
This is to advise that all of our Exterior Faints con taining II or more will carry the-attached sticker on the lid of the container. The lerger size is placed on our quart and gallon sizes, while the other appears on our pints and smaller size containers.
We have already taken steps to see that none of our In terior Faints containing II of lead metal will be shipped to dealers located within the limits of the City of Baltimore.
We have alao withdrawn our Green Forch and Floor Enamel until such time as we have inserted a special1 sticker bearing the fol lowing statement;
"No recommendation on this label or otherwise is to be construed ee indicating in any way that this product is suitable for use on in terior surfaces of places used for ,the cere of children or on inter ior surfaces of dwellings."
We will send you two labels with the sticker attached for your ap proval.
Yours very truly,
