MINUTES Or EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE GLIDDEN COMPANY. Minutes of meeting of the Executive Conmittee of The Olid.den Company, held on May 21st, 1927 at 10 o'clock A.H. The meeting was called to order end presided over by Mr. Adrien D. Joyce, President, and the minutes were recorded by Mr. B. H, HorBburgh, as Secretary. The following members of the Committee were present: Adrian D. Joyce R. B. Levenhagen 0. A. Basse R. H. Horsburgh Constituting the entire Committee. Major ff. R. Landers was present by invitation of the Committee to explain about the need of the company spending some money at the Oakland Lithopone plant to equip this plant to properly grind barytes. The written recoimiendations of Major Landers were read by Mr. Joyce, these reconrnendations being made a part of these minutes. After careful consideration and a thorough discussion, a motion was made, seconded and approved to proceed with the work at an estimated cost of between $35,000. to $40,000. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was on motion duly made and seconded, adjourned. GLD007226
