E-18176-W INSOLATION SPECIFICATIONS I attach carbon copy of an ingust 25, 1961 letter fro* Bill Doyle in vhich he deals vith the captioned subject. We can consider the letter as an an swer to your letter of July 3, 1961 to me along with the specifications you attached and the telegram you sent to Bill a short tine afterwards. I an sure that of us can be well pleased with the fact that F.I.A. has indicated acceptance of the proposed method for cold column insulation, this being on the basis of the Indicated forty minute performance. You will note that F.I.A. is most desirous of witnessing a proper test on the proposed type insulation. Vith the assumption that such a performance test has not been made thus far, we also recommend that tests be made along the lines that F.I.A. requests. Will you please let me know what can be worked out? RGStdd ; original 4 2 carbon ooples oo; Mr. W. H. Doyle R. G. Shlsslak C 002891 LAM022705
