Requestor: Sam Hammons Purpose of the Meeting: To describe a new waterless drilling and completion technique which would alleviate many environmental concerns associated with drilling and hydraulic fracturing. Background on the Meeting: Mr. Bott and others have formed a new enterprise utilizing new technology which, if funded, would alleviate many, if not most, environmental concerns associated with drilling and hydraulic fracturing. Grant funding will be sought to incorporate the technology into a complete package which will be made available to oil and gas producers and can be used in areas where petroleum activities are restrained because of opposition to hydraulic fracturing as well as in areas where water usage is problematic. It will also alleviate the need for injection of many fluids currently being injected into disposal wells. We do not seek the Administrator's intervention but simply want to make him aware of the technology.
