SHERIDAN USE OF RL-3113 in "LUCITE" ACRYLIC LACQUER On Page 5 of your February, 1957, Panin Plant Labora tory Monthly Report, you stated that tests were; lalng run to determine the amount of H-654 butyl benzyl phthalafce that could be replaced by RL-3113* The Research Division Is opposed to the use of RL-3113 in any quantities because It Is thinned with H-596. We know from extensive durability studies that H-596 has a detrimental effect on "Luelte" durability,. If RL-3113 could be thinned with H~5f33, tlere would be no objection whatsoever from the Research Division, since H-5B3 is used extensively in our present formulations and has no adverse effect on durability.
