I'm overbooked today, Friday, and out of town on Monday. I depart on Wedn for Marrakech. I have also been in communication directly with Aus Minister Josh Frydenberg, and will be comparing notes with Cosi on Monday night (his staffer handling the visit and who spoke with you this past week). Once I can get some guidance from you we can neck down the options and work with your team to something reasonable. But most importantly I want to get a sense from you of what would be a `success' back here for the trip. Assume you might want a public diplomacy play - an op ed upon arrival in Aus and one back in the US upon return, and other media availabilities but limiting the Aus opposition on issues e.g. climate change and Paris, maybe a Joint Statement or Working Group that can be established. Can work around your schedule on Tuesday other than a 10 am at the White House which would be hard to change. Don't have your cell, tho, and if a call is better just let me know. Best regards.
