Hannah, Today, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald sent the attached letter to Secretary Duffy requesting the DOT issue rulemaking or guidance that would allow HSIP funding to support safety measures for Vulnerable Road Users when two existing projects are being connected. In light of Sarah Debbink Langenkamp's tragic death, DOT administrative action would make travel safer for all, especially pedestrians and bicyclists, until further action is evaluated in the Surface Transportation Reauthorization.
