Very many thanks for your letter of January 4th, and for your most interesting and detailed memorandum in reply to the various points raised in Kossett's letters to you of August 31st and September 21st last, in connection with analytical data from Abadan. I am passing a copy of your memorandum on to Harrison who, I am sure, will be most pleased to receive it. It so happens that I have today received from Harrison a copy of a further report on T.E.L. operations and other lead hazards at Abadan Refinery for the period June-October 1945. I have sent this on to Hugh Bossett in New York, and have requested him to pass it on to you for your information and comments as soon as he has finished with it. In a covering letter Abadan state that in the future they will be issuing similar reports at six-monthly intervals t r. S A " r. UuU LO0 dealing with any abnormal circumstances promptly through the medium of separate reports. Believing you will find these reports interesting, I have asked Harrison to let us have an additional copy for forwarding to you, and we hope that it will prove possible for you to find Sufficient time to let us have your comments on the various points discussed in these reports.
