Living with Energy in Iowa magazine is owned and published by the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives and is mailed out monthly to 58,000 rural households and businesses throughout the state. Pruitt's interview and a photo or two of him interacting with our group would appear in the January issue and we would allow you to review the article before going to print. 17cv01906 Sierra Club v. EPA ED 001523B 00002263-00001 Here are some proposed questions w e'd like to ask him: 1. What does your "back to basics" energy policy mean for Iowans? 2. Some electric cooperative members want to see more investments in renewable energy rather than relying on traditional fossil-fueled generation, such as coal. How will your plans address their concerns? 3. When it comes to electric generation, how can rural Iowans be most effective in being stewards of the environment? 4. You frequently mention changing the culture of the EPA, what does that "look like" for Iowans? 5. In reference to natural resources, you've been quoted as saying "Let's use them to feed the world. Let's use them to power the world. Let's use them to protect the world." What grade would you give Iowa in doing these things (ask for examples...)? Let me know if any of these give you heartburn. This would be a friendly interview environment and w e're keeping the conversation focused on Iowa consumers. Thanks! Erin Erin Campbell 17cv01906 Sierra Club v.
