December 9, 1960 Mr. Wm. R. Perdue, Jr. Ethyl Corporation 100 Park Avenue New York 17, New York Dear Bill: I send you herewith a copy of my letter to Dr. Price of U.S.P.H.S., concerning the signs for use on pumps and certain other containers, and a copy of the reply made to me by Mr. Anderson. Both of these are self-explanatory and it is evident that our position in this matter is as Z have assumed it to be namely, that of acting in good faith in relation to the nature of the hygienic issue, of informing the Service fully of the position taken, and of receiving their tacit approval or, alternatively, any advice or criticism which they may wish to offer. As I see it, this matter is settled in a satisfactory manner. Sincerely yours, RAK:ss cc: Mr. Fred W a m e Enclosures Robert A. Kehoe, M. D. 0002866
