I have also cc'd Jim on this e-mail as I believe the issue described below is of interest to both of you. My firm has done work in D.C. for several years now for the ANCSA Village Corporation for St. Paul Island, the Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), and TDX's CEO Ron Philemonoff and I have worked together for over 20 years! As you probably recall, St. Paul is home to some of the most fantastic seabird habitat in the world and some years ago TDX and USFWS entered into a "bird cliffs" agreement that in our view is long overdue for updating and potential revision. Although Ron has only had preliminary discussions with USFWS folks in Alaska, there did appear to be a willingness to begin a discussion about how the situation on St. Paul could be improved. Would it be possible to arrange a meeting early next year, or perhaps a conference call to discuss the matter, and in the meantime we can provide additional information ahead of a meeting or a call. Thanks very much for your consideration. C.J.
