Would heip if I attached agenda
Hi Mary,
i'm following up on Nancy's email to Bill Hubbard regarding out Thompson Hine event in DC on October 26 & 27. i have attached the agenda for your review. Her presentation would only be about 20 minutes in length and is the last segment of the "Hot Topics" agenda item which runs from 8:30 - 9:30 am on Friday, October 2.7. There are three short presentations planned; Government Contracts, Immigration and an ERA update. We were hoping that Nancy could speak to what's going on currently with TSCA and given the new administration, any initiatives or general policy changes that: may impact the chemical industry. A brief update would be perfect.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Alice

Bill, In considering this it would be helpful to have a few more details regarding what would be of interest to your clients. I've looped in Mary Hanley, our special assistant and if you could work with her that would be helpful.

Nancy,
While you are unable to join us at the DRI conference, I was wondering if you might be interested and available to speak at an event my Firm is hosting on our DC office. On October 26th and 27th, our firm is hosting a symposium in our Washington DC office for the genera! counsel of our chemical industry clients - a group of about 10-20. We invite presenters on various topics of concern that general counsel are facing in the industry. One topic of particular interest is happenings at the ERA. I was wondering if you might be interested in speaking for about 20 minutes to us the morning of October 27th. Piease let me know if you are interested and we can further discuss details.

Bill, I think I'm going to pass on this opportunity. I am not the right person to give a talk on toxic tort and product liability

law. I'm sure Lynn Bergeson can find someone better suited to this audience and the sessions. In addition my GC would likely have concerns with my preparing a manuscript.
