Prior to the issuance of theee proposed aandaents, there waa k m question as to whether an artist would be permitted to use white lead in the preparation of his canvas. Similarly, there was question as to whether appliances such as refriger ators, stovas and mashers could be primed with lead bearing anti-corrosive paints. These questions have now been clerified by the proposed amendments, and assuming they become s part of the Act, these legitimate uaea for lead will be allowed to continue. At the recent Federation of Societies for Faint Technology Meeting in Atlantic City, UA attended a session at which Mr. Malcolm W. Jansen of the FOA was slated fee discuss OSHA regulations.
