During the discussion, you raised two points which needed evaluation and I wanted to give you a follow-up report. You and Dr. Lillis both wondered if Dr. Faison's reference to the frontal view of a placque was in fact an X-ray of a carcinoma of the lung. Dr. Felson has since reviewed the videotape and, during the discussion, reiterated that the X-ray did in fact show only a placque. The patient has been followed by him for many years and he is confident it Ls not a diSSaxaae laaion. We reviewed the videotape again and agree with you that the statement that 4 out of 5 radiologists will hava a different reading for the same x-ray is too harsh end will tend to undermine the confidence that employees have in X-ray interpretations. This statement will be rsaoved.
