It's possible that a mixture of product and NaBH4 powder may exit the PVRV or strapping hatch while charging. Have about a 20% level in the tank before charging. 4.2 The maximum amount of NaBH4 in TEA is 200 PPM. If the TEA has been filtered through the NaBH4 pots at DV-272A/B, the TEA will contain approximately 64 PPM NaBH4. No more than 8 LB of NaBH4 should be added to every 100,000 LB of TEA that has been previously filtered through the NaBH4 pots. 5.0 Procedure: 5.1 Red tag the nitrogen and recirculation valves closed to the tank. 5.2 Bleed pressure off the tank through the PVRV or strapping hatch.
