Applications for membership in the Lead Industries Ascociation shall he acted upon, following their re ceipt, at the next meeting of the board id directors nr the executive committee. Any member may withdraw at any time from membership in the Lead Industries Association by giving formal notice of such withdrawal to the Secretary, and fulfilling all obligations to the association incurred by that member to the time of withdrawal. The board of directors of the Lead Indu'tries Association shall consist of representatives of the members elected at the annual meeting and shall not reseed fifteen (15) in number. In the ca'C of the mining, smelting and refining branches of the lead industries, the lead pro duced in ores and concentrates, or lead bullion and pig lead, respectively, shall he the basis of the assessment; in the case of the manufacturing, re-selling or consum ing branches <>t the lead industries, the lead consumed, whether virgin or secondary, shall be the basis. A schedule ol assessments shall be drawn up based upon the four major divisions represented in the association, i f., (a) mining, lb) smelling and relining, (c) manu facturers of lead product', (d) consumers of lead who do not sell their lead products. Assessment* shall be lc\ied on each of the above divisions according to the folic.wing ratio: (a) 4, (b) I, (t ) 2, (d1 1...
