Chrysler Building, Hew York City# \
Dear Mr. Pages /
I am sendingvm^agrjjgith copies of the correspondence in
the case
B&nforth, as referred to in your
letter of 0cvGoenl9. Perhaps I should have sent copies
of this correspondence to you earlier, but I was waiting
to see what developed, ia view of the fact that the original
claim had nothing to do with leaded gasoline, and in further
view of the fact that the involvement of gasoline in the claim,
was absurd.
I have no knowledge of what has been done in a medical way in connection with this claim, and I am sorry that further medical observations were not made as soon as my suggestions had been received.
Very truly yours.

Dear Doctor:
I understand that a letter dated July 27, 1942 was received by Ethyl Corporation from J. R. Fitzgerald of the Lumber Mutual Casualty Insurance Company of New York with reference to the above captioned claim, and that same was referred to you.
No copy of this letter appears to have been re tained here, nor do I know by whom the same was referred to you, so at your convenience will you kindly forward a
copy thereof to me.
In a letter dated September IS, 1942, Mr. Fitz gerald states that your assistance has been of great benefit to him in the proper analysis of the claim, which is predicated on the contention that Skowronski claims he contracted lead poisoning as a result of washing his hands and arms twice a day for about three weeks with H-C Sinclair
"regular" gas.
Will you kindly let me know the present status of this matter so far as you are concerned, and any suggestions which may occur to you with respect to our handling of the
same at this office?
With kindest regards,
Sincerely,
RMP:p
