Barter Location: 36 West Sub|ect: p-Dich1orobenzine MSDS Nick Stufano of Standard Chlorine inquired about the most recent PPG MSDS on p-DCB, particularly the source of the data that changed our oral LD50 from 2500 mg/kg on the previous MSDS to 500 mg/kg on the new one. Both Monsanto and Standard Chlorine have 1800 mg/kg. Our sheet was changed on Tom Baidauff's suggestion based on a change in the RTECS value. Stufano's concern is that some states' child resistant packaging laws use a LD50 of 1500 mg/kg as a trigger point and this could force para blocks and other products to undergo tremendous packaging changes. We have ordered the literature reference for this study and will review it to determine whether we want to continue that value on our MSDS or use a more commonly accepted value. list- J Barter cc: W. 8.
