Sanborn visited the Marlin Oil Corporation oil and gas facility located at latitude 36.542995 and longitude -96.263457 near Wynona, Oklahoma on 10/29/2019 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives of Marlin Oil Corporation present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION The facility is known as the Alma Rogers lease and is east of Wynona, Oklahoma. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed low secondary containment berms during the inspection. There was surface damage outside the tank battery on the west side as well. The shallow secondary containment pit had fluids in it during the inspection. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN The secondary containment was too low. Section IV - FOLLOW UP EPA water enforcement will refer this facility to EPA SPCC program. Section V - LIST OF APPENDICES N/A 2
