Good morning-- I'm reaching out on behalf of Congressman Tony Gonzales (R-TX-23) to request a meeting with the appropriate division at DOT to discuss a regional project in the member's district. Rep. Gonzales' constituents from Reeves County will be in DC on September 15-17 and are requesting an in-person meeting to brief the DOT on a few infrastructure projects they are seeking support for. The delegation would consist of the county judge, the mayor, and a few other elected representatives. For additional context, Reeves County is the largest gas-producing region in Texas and among the highest in the nation. The local government is working with our office and TxDoT on road infrast ructure projects that would greatly improve traffic flows, safety, and energy development in the area.
