Unfortunately, only those individuals who RSVP by today will be allowed to enter the Capitol Complex for the reception. As a reminder, the reception is this Wednesday, June 21 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM in the in the Mike Mansfield Room (S-207) at the United States Capitol (see attached invitation). Please reply to this e-mail to RSVP. Below are directions for entering the Capitol Complex and attached is a map highlighting the North Door entrance. Directions: Public transportation is the best way to access the Capitol, there is no visitor parking. The closest stations are Union Station on the Red Line and Capitol South on the Blue, Orange and Silver Lines. Please visit www.visitthecapitol.gov for a map of the Capitol complex and list of prohibited items. Please enter the grounds at the North Driveway entrance which is right off of Constitution & Delaware Avenues, NE. Walk past the police at the first gate house and proceed to the small white guard house with the green roof, which is right beside the Capitol. At this time, tell the officers you are on official business and go through security and then proceed to Senate Appointments Desk. The staff there will direct you to the elevators, which you will take to the second floor and go to the left of the Senate Chamber and follow the hall to the Ohio Clock corridor and go left to find S-207.
