CONCLUSIONS The potassium perfluorooctanesulfona9t6e-hourECso and 95% confidenceintervaflorSelenastrum capficornutumwas determined using threecalculatiomnethods. By celldensity,itwas 71 (66-73)mg/L, by area under thegrowth curve itwas 71 (67-74)mg/L and by growth rate 126 (115-138)mg/L. The 96-hourNOEC was determinedby Dunnett's procedure(p < 0.05)to be 44 mg/L usingallthreemethods. No-signsof aggregation,-ffocculatiorn,adherence were noted inany ofthe test solutionsorthe controls.This testsubstance was determinedtobe algistatic.
