Please be aware that on July 20, 1984, Vista Chemical Company acquired those plants from the Conoco Chemical Division of Conoco Inc. Conoco Chemicals' products, in general, except for those manufactured at the Chocolate Bayou, Alvin Texas and Newark, New Jersey plants are now Vista Chemical Company products. Specific to your request, revised MSDSs for Vista Heavy Ends EDC/VCM, Light Aromatic Distillate, and NALKYLENE 500 Detergent Alkylate are enclosed. The Baltimore plant no longer produces NALKYLENE 550, 575, or 600 Detergent Alkylates. In particular, NALKYLENE 500 is not a hazardous material in that it presents no extraordinary physical or health hazards.
