From the observed mortalities, 96-hour TLcq values were calculated using Thompson's method of moving'sverages and tables prepared by Well (Blometrlcai 8, 849-863, 1958). Because of the death or an occasional flsE at the low con centrations, the calculation of the TI*-q proved to be a frustrating exercise in a few oases, in general terms, however, all 3 materials have a similar relatively low degree of toxicity to both species of fish. /bke att.
